GrimHEX, formerly know as Green Imperial HEX, is an Outlaw Base located in the Yela asteroid belt and was released with Star Citizen Alpha 2.5.
As part of the team of artists at Behaviour Montreal, we were in charge of creating the visuals and setting the mood for the base and its landing zone. My main role was to create 3D assets, both standalone pieces and modular kits, greybox some areas such as the main atrium and back alleys, make a first pass of lighting to set the mood in said areas, dress the environment and take part in the bug fixing process.
All the work below is collaborative.
